The First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited promo, tagged ‘’FCMB 30th Anniversary promo’’, has rewarded the first set of lucky customers across the country at the Regional and Zonal draws held nationwide on Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

While 3 customers of the Bank were rewarded with the sum of N1million each at the Regional draws held in Ogun State, Abuja and Rivers State, a total of 130 others smiled home with LCD Television, Fridge/Generator, DVD players and other exciting prizes at the Zonal draws held in 26 locations in the country.

At the Lagos/South-West Regional draw which took place at Akute in Ogun State, Mr. Ndubuisi Ifeanyi Franklin got the reward of N1million, while at the North Regional draw held in Abuja, Mr. Okechukwu Eze got the same amount, just as Mr. Opia Peter Azubuike got N1million at the South-East/South-South Regional draw at Port Harcourt in Rivers State.

Speaking on the promo, FCMB’s Senior Vice President/Divisional Head, Retail Banking, Mr. Olu Akanmu, stated that the event was in fulfilment of the promise made by the Bank at the launch of the promo, which started in October 2013 and will run till February 2014, to reward customers who qualified to participate. He informed customers of the Bank and other dignitaries that witnessed the event that the promo is aimed at encouraging savings and financial inclusion through rewards and prizes. ‘’It is also a way to say a special thank you to our teeming customers for being invaluable partners over the years as we celebrate our 30years of existence as a Bank’’, Mr. Akanmu added.

On how to participate in the promo, he explained  that, ‘’all you need to do as an existing FCMB customer or potential customer is to Save N10,000.00 in any of the eligible accounts for 30 days to qualify for the monthly random selection of winners. Multiple savings of N10,000.00 will increase chances of qualifying for the electronic selection. Customers can also save N10,000 monthly incremental over three months or have an incremental average balance of N30,000.00 in February, 2014 to qualify for the grand electronic selection, where the star reward of three Hyundai Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) will be given away’’.

While congratulating the winners, Mr. Akanmu assured that, ‘’customers of FCMB, will continue to enjoy excellent services. We urge you to participate actively in this promo as it is meant to enrich the lives of our customers’’.
