His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has commended the efforts of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Plc and others towards the financing of the Eko Atlantic 5,000,000 square metres project.

The President made this commendation today at the dedication ceremony of the project at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, Lagos. FCMB is the leading financier having committed $100m in loan and guarantees. Three other banks are involved namely Access, GTB, and First Bank.

Other dignitaries at the occasion include the former President of America, Mr. Bill Clinton; the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola and the Deputy Managing Director, FCMB, Mr. Segun Odusanya.
